Poker For Dummies Reddit
David J. Blatt of Brooklyn allegedly stole the chips from Parx Casino near Philadelphia, grabbing 11 $5,000 chips from a the dealer’s well of a blackjack table he was seated at.
Poker for Dummies: The First Part. The first chapter of this book is titled “How to play the games”, this is the meatiest part of the book and it provides new players the information on various parts of the poker scene. It teaches players the rules about betting and basic poker rules and regulations. However, poker professionals calculate profits in the long run. And push on the small skill edges that add up to a positive outcome long-term. Making a basic living off poker is difficult and relies heavily on self-motivation, study, and emotional control, among many other factors. However there are still many positives to outweigh all this.
Blatt managed to leave the Casino with the stolen chips and drove off in his SUV. Security cameras recorded the theft but no one noticed in time to prevent Blatt from leaving with his ill-gotten gains.
That’s where the story would usually end but Blatt decided to return to Parx just a few hours later to try to cash in the chips. Authorities arrested him and Blatt was sent to Bucks County Prison facing 11 counts each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
He’s got plenty of company when it comes to dumb Casino heists, with the lure of easy money too much for some people to resist. Most robberies are of a similar grab and go nature but a few might just top Blatt’s exploits when it comes to dumb Casino criminals.
Anthony Carleo managed to pull off a daring robbery of the Bellagio where he sped off on his motorcycle after nabbing $1.5 million in stolen chips but his plan had a fatal flaw: he had no way to redeem the $25,000 chips he stole without drawing attention to himself.
He was eventually tracked down and arrested after trying to use a popular poker forum to sell some of the chips at a steep discount to poker players; police were alerted and Carleo was quickly busted after a fake buy was arranged.
Back in 2008 a gambler at a Fresno, California Casino was arrested while playing blackjack when he tried to ante up a bag of marijuana instead of a bet, insisting that it should be valued just like money.

What are free poker strategy videos?
Poker training videos usually involve a professional/incredibly good poker player recording themselves playing a session of online poker. As they go along, they will comment on their plays and try to explain why they are making their actions and why they believe they are profitable. As you can guess, this is a great way to learn as you watch these videos.
Some training videos differ slightly in format, but that's the general idea of how most Texas Hold'em strategy videos work.
Where to start with Texas Hold'em strategy videos.
Although these free training videos have been ordered by coach and the date they were added, you can pretty much pick and choose any video at random to watch. There's no need to watch the videos in any particular order.

It may be easier to watch videos in order for ease of use, but it's by no means a necessity. Most players will look to watch videos similar to the stakes and game type they play.
